• Mr Bridegum, I just wanted to let you know I really enjoyed your show and the Deland venue was really nice! I only do indoor shows so I was happy that I was able to enter my dog in your show! The staff and stewards were so polite and helpful, and the little girl with the really long hair was amazing. I could not believe how well she knew how to handle the Superintendent table. Very impressive!

• Thank you for a REALLY GREAT WEEKEND in Marietta. Had so much fun, met such nice people, no stress. Just thoroughly enjoyed it and so did J.R. And, Levi, well, Levi just likes to strut his stuff anywhere!!

  We are looking forward to ICE returning to this area so we can attend some more. Will have more time to get the word out to other club members. We have a lot of juniors in the Anniston Kennel Club and I believe it would be a great experience for them. I noticed how the judges really worked with the juniors!

• I have had the pleasurable opportunity of judging these shows and have to say that I have the Best Time! They’re fun!! The written critiques seem to be helpful especially when combined with a verbal emphasis of the points of the entry – AS THE JUDGE SEES THEM. You must remember – in this dog game it’s a matter of opinion. I believe the judges’ critiques and personal comments help the exhibitor/breeder see the traits of their dog with objectivity. Or, there can be a new puppy entry that the exhibitor wasn’t too sure whether to keep or not and this objective communication may help make the decision. The healthy non-envious type of competition offered at the ICE shows is a real enjoyment for all. Applause and laughter go hand in hand in each ring as the ribbons and placements are awarded. ICE offers the sound and original method of proving our dogs quality as compared to the breed standard, and this provides a mutual joyous pride shared by everyone. One of the most enjoyable elements of attending an ICE event is the opportunity to visit with each other (both judge and exhibitor/breeder), learn a new tip from an exhibitor or judge, or just catch up on breeding plans and new litters, as well as keeping up with the events of our two legged friends and their families, without fear of reprisal for giving the appearance of being too familiar.
